Quebec's Immigration Ministry distributed its refreshed Area of Training List on Friday, November 1.
The new list replaces the past Area of Training List that was distributed August 2, 2018, and the ministry said the updated rendition applies to all applications submitted previously or after November 1.
The list is utilized by the Government of Quebec to decide eligibility to the Quebec Experience Program (PEQ) and to relegate points when figuring out who gets a Quebec Selection Certificate (Certificat de sélection du Québec, or CSQ).
A CSQ is required so as to move to Quebec as a permanent resident.
Quebec modifies the list intermittently to mirror its monetary and work needs.
The archive is isolated into five segments (A to E), with territories of preparing recorded in Section A considered the most in-demand.
Points are granted for indicated remote and Quebec college, college and secondary-level professional degrees dependent on the degree of employer demand in Quebec, with those recorded under Section A value 12.
Updated criteria for the Quebec Experience Program published for the current week require all applicants to have a degree or diploma in a qualified zone of training.
Qualified areas of training are those under Part II of Sections An and B of the list.
The reexamined criteria produced results on November 1.
